No need to restart the game, just go to addons and back to main menu. Join server. It's as simple as that, if it crashes or doesn't work then the issue is elsewhere.
Hard Rain is another one that is a total blast to play, lots of great places for infected attacks, awesome pounce spots, just an all around fun campaign in general. Arrgg I can't decide without writing out every campaign and their pros and cons. It's like asking which is your favourite kid!
