Equally the Assassins Creed 3 Remaster save folder is not located in the ubisoft/ubisoft game launcher/savegames folder. Found the solution, both my assassins creed 3 and new odyssey save folders were in a completely new location. Instead of using the ubisoft folder under "Program x86" it had created the whole setup of folders under a folder
