I have a 2018 Golf TSI 1.8 with 40K miles. Zero oil consumption, mostly highway driving at 75 mph. A joy to drive-no rattles, great handling. Change synthetic oil every 5K, Top Tier gasoline, filters as recommended, don't beat it up and you will not have many problems.
