I checked device manager and figured out that the controller is also there listed as "xbox one wireless controller". I hit "update driver" and changed it to xinput. I found the xinput driver there. Restarted pc and checked device manager to make sure it stays at xinpus. It was on xinput still, so i started the game but the game still shows it

Steam is more of a PC thing. But it is making it's way into the console universe with the Steam Link and the Steam controller. Maybe if Steam decides to release itself onto the consoles, that the Steam workshop will be there, allowing mods and addons for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and a lot other games.

On the new window that appears But it would generate them more money if the game would be on the console market. A lot of people don't have the money to buy a PC to run the game properly, so they buy a console. And where I live, a good gaming PC is more expensive than a console. A console is 250 euros and a good gaming PC would be 400 or 500 euros.
